All employees shall be treated with courtesy, dignity, and respect irrespective of gender, race, colour, or sexual orientation.
This policy demonstrates our commitment to positively promoting an integrated and merit-based culture, where everyone is encouraged and supported to achieve their own potential
We recognise the value everyone can bring to the business and the benefits of diversity amongst our employees. Employment with Heavens Hemp shall be a positive and fulfilling experience, where people feel confident and enthusiastic about what they are doing, understanding how their personal contribution can help achieve success in the overall company objectives.
1.1 Equal treatment
We affirm our commitment to the equal treatment of all staff. We are firmly opposed to any form of discrimination. Decisions relating to recruitment selection, staff development and promotion depend upon the individual’s qualifications, experience, skill set, ability, and performance
1.2 Personal responsibility
We shall promote an integrated and merit-based culture, and this shall be communicated to staff through induction and training. Managers shall ensure fair and effective recruitment, selection, development, and promotion of staff and are expected to lead by example.
1.3 Valuing and respecting each other
We shall encourage individuals to recognise and welcome the differences between work colleagues and others. Effective team working means harnessing the contribution each person brings; respecting one another means making every effort to behave in a manner acceptable to those around us.
1.4 Overcoming barriers
Where appropriate, adjustments shall be made to the business environment and ‘ways of working’ to provide access and opportunity to groups or individuals who may otherwise be disadvantaged in their employment and promotion prospects.
1.5 Non-tolerance, discrimination and harassment
Appropriate disciplinary or legal action shall be taken to protect staff from any discriminatory or harassing behaviour, verbal or physical. This applies to groups or individuals from within or outside the organisation. Any concerns or complaints will be handled sensitively and promptly

The Human Rights Policy applies to Heavens Hemp and the facilities that it manages. The Company is committed to working with and encouraging our approved supply chain to uphold the principles in this Policy and to adopt similar policies within their businesses.
